Can u solve this

I made this code for a D&D group I was wondering if anyone here could solve it

1 24 16 11 25 __ 2 22 14 19 __ 3 22 6 14 19 1 6 25 __ 4 19 13 __ 2 18 3 26 21 3

6 8 13 10 25 12 17 __ 6 26 18 23 __ 6 1 26 21 2 __ 9 24 18 __ 5 25 13 18

11 9 4 5 24 4, __ 4 24 16 21 ___ 7 23 8 26 6 5 17 ___ 6 26 11 __ 3 23 15 20

2 10 25 12 7 26 __ 11 26 20__1 21 13 18 __ 19 26 11 7 26 __ 20 22 17 20 5 18 23 4

21 6 22 21 7.

The lines are spaces between words.

Substituting letters for numbers we get this, the most popular letters being Z, F and R. Nothing works out to well, you're not using some elf, middle earth, hobbit speak are you?

It hasn't been caesar'd that I can tell. Looking at the 6 26 11 and 11 26 20, if those are common conjuctions and we're dealing with a straight substitution, I don't think either is THE because the other would be EHx or xHT. AND doesn't seem to fit either. NOR might become YON, though. HAS could be SAY.

Interesting that the first four words start with the first four ordinal numbers, and there's a string of three words in the second line that ostensibly start with the same letter.

When the spheres of power

opan.

The spelling is as it translates.

After some going over.. I feel like there's some key part I'm missing as nothing works. Though every letter is used at least once (and only one letter used once). No double letters, and only one repetition of 3 letters (JYL going by ARLogic's letter substitution).
So.. definitely feel like I'm missing something here.

The key isn't a substitution, it is the difference between two numbers. Take 6 26 11, difference between 6 and 26 is 20 = T, difference betwen 26 and 11 is 15 = O. So 6 26 11 becomes TO.

Actually, I posted too quickly, that is only part of the answer. It is more complicated, which is probably why there are misspellings in the original cipher. Won't give it away just yet, after all.

Of course mrzeno got there first, and I don't know that I would have continued without his solution.
The last set of numbers should have been 21 6 22 17 3. The other misspelling had two possible sequences, but I'll leave those to the next person to solve, to post, if they desire..

Probably not what you are looking for but how about the number of actual doors in a 5 door car = 2 front doors and 2 back doors, with no specific mention of the boot, which is regarded as the 5th door?
