Default choose variable data-type

If we could select the variables by data-type e.g. interval, categorical, string etc, I would not keep ending up with puzzles that have too many numeric options! It gives me eye-strain . The Facebook/twitter/linkedin puzzle is a good example of what I mean, so is the gold/silver/bronze medal puzzle, enough to give me migraine!

Default Geocaching Worst

These puzzles have I think ten digit or so longitude and latitude coordinates that vary by decimal places only.

There is a puzzle about figure skating that I started as user zero. Is there NO way to select a puzzle you want? The puzzle I'm talking about was identified as http://www.logic-puzzles.org/game.ph...d76d09a58ac909 .
