Thumbs up The Picnic

On Saturday a few guests will join five friends – Jessica, Laurie, Mark, Mary, and Sally – who are having a picnic get-together with a twist. Each friend has drawn from a jar, a piece of paper on which is written the name of the dish which they will prepare and which will be served at their home. The dishes will be served in the traditional order. Each will provide a different soft drink and, just to add a bit of fun to the get-together, each will be game master in a favourite fun game.

The dishes will be Classic Barbecue Ribs, Seafood Chowder, Bacon Lover's Devilled Eggs, Easy Peach Fancy, and Summer Potato Salad.

The drinks will be Cola, Lemon, Lime, Orange, and Raspberry.

The fun games will be Chocolate Surprise, Hidden Messages, Measles, Teddy’s Picnic, and Thumbs.

The visiting order will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

The friends, dishes, drinks, games, and visiting order do not necessarily relate to each other in the order listed.

From this information and the following clues, can you determine, for each friend, their dish, their drink, the game in which they will be game master, and the order in which their home will be visited?

1) Jessica will not prepare the Classic Barbecue Ribs but will be 5th game master in Chocolate Surprise.
2) Mark, who will play first host, will provide Lime drinks.
3) The game master in Hidden Messages will play 4th host and provide Raspberry drinks.
4) Easy Peach Fancy will be prepared by the host who will provide Lemon drinks.
5) Cola drinks will be provided by the host who will prepare Classic Barbecue Ribs.
6) Sally will provide the Seafood Chowder and will be game master in Teddy’s Picnic after Measles.
7) One of the women will be game master in Hidden Messages.
8) The 1st game master will not be in Thumbs.
