Default New format w/o x

What happened to the format without the X's? The boxes were shaded, instead. Did anyone else notice that? I liked it better that way.

Go to your User Settings page. The link is in the upper right, near the Logout link. On the settings page, choose Edit Your Details.

This link should take you there directly:

Scroll down to the Additional Information section. The display option you are looking for is there. Don't forget to click Save Changes.

This doesn't keep it the same as what you select. I have to go in at times and re-select what is already marked. it keeps putting the solid red box when I have selected the dark X. It doesn't do it all the time but it is irritating since is do save it and when I go in to correct it has what I want selected already. Would this have anything to do with cookies?

As a test, I changed my grid settings on this browser (FF) and then opened the site on a browser I never use (IE). The new grid settings were visible on the latter. Cookies are not transferred between browsers, so I don't think this setting is stored in a cookie.

This doesn't rule out cookie problems entirely, but it is more likely to be something else.
