Can you guess this sound?
Hi guys - there's a local New Zealand radio competition going on here at the moment where we need to guess a secret sound. There is a 50k cash prize up for grabs and I would be more than willing to share a portion of the winnings with anyone who can help me figure it out!

Here's where you can listen to the secret sound: http://www.zmonline.com/zms-secret-s...season-3-here/

And here you can listen to the sound slowed down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wK6sdZzx3ZU

We've also been given a few clues... http://www.zmonline.com/zms-secret-s...re-your-clues/

Clue #1: The sound is not found inside Gary the sound-keeper's house.

Clue #2: This clue was a word search, where we had to cross out words and see what the leftover letters spelt. The leftover words were - 'Is it you or is it me lately I've been lost'...
For those not living in NZ, this is the beginning of Shortland Street's old theme song. Shortland Street (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shortland_Street) is a NZ medical soap opera.
This leads me to think the sound has something to do with a hospital, or perhaps something to do with the *real* Shortland Street address in Auckland. They also have their 25th anniversary coming up next Monday, as the first episode was aired May 25th 1992. So these dates may also have something to do with the secret sound...

Clue #3: Well, you can watch the video clue and have a look yourself. The secret sound can be found in one of these locations. Both Kanye West and Taylor Swift randomly pop up near the end of the video - maybe alluding to the 2009 VMA incident where West interrupted Swift's speech?

And here you can see what has been guessed already: http://www.zmonline.com/zms-secret-s...-been-guessed/
Let me know what you guys think!

sounds like some sort of stamping thing on paper or wood. at first I thought it sounded like a paper cutter but it sounds creakier than that or that there's more parts. They say not a hole punch lol, maybe a clock ticking?
