I've solved a few easy puzzles, yet I'm often stumped and have a hard time making inferences after I check off all of the squares explicitly mentioned in the rules. What can I do to get better at making inferences?

Try reading all the messages about faster solving, guessing, etc. Also, make sure you read the each clue carefully and completely. Pay attention to all the details - if Pablo arrived before the root beer drinker, then Pablo is not last, the root beer drinker is not first and Pablo is not the root beer drinker.
When you have a match, make sure you eliminate all the negatives for both. If you keep plugging along, you will get the hang of it and find yourself zipping right along! |
