Default Puzzle Preview gone

I noticed tonight the preview of the columns is missing. It was there earlier today. Is this part of admins work to prevent cheating and getting super low solve times?

Yes, unfortunately the preview had to go.

Thanks, Admin! I like this even though I used the preview. It takes just a couple of seconds to review the info in the grid once the puzzle starts, and hopefully this will curb the cheating.

I never really looked at the previews so it doesn't bother me that they're gone. I was wondering if there was a way we could still know whether or not the puzzle was going to be 4x4 or a 5x5 besides looking at the average solve time and guessing. Sometimes I don't have the time to do the 5x5 puzzles. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Just wondering: has the lack of preview made a difference? Personally, I used to reject puzzles with categories like mythical names, butterflies or medications because the slowed me down and made me double check unfamiliar words. But since I'm doing more 4X4 puzzles, my average time is lower. Do you take puzzle size into account for average speed?

You are doing a wonderful job and I love this site. Thank you for your time and effort.
