Default Invalid Thread Posting?

The majority of comments I've clicked on in the Forum Tab within the past few days show an invalid thread posting error. Are these real comments or is this a bug?

My understanding is that there is a big lag between when a thread is posted and when it's actually up due to the mods trying to reduce spam. The problem is, there's no lag between when a thread is posted and when it shows in the little previews.

Explained by Admin here:

It's really become a pain. I hope he/she comes up with an alternative solution.

I agree, it is a pain. I don't see why they can't just make it so a new poster has to have their posts audited a certain number of times (such as 5 or 10) before they can post freely without a time lag. I've seen other message boards use this method before. Honestly I haven't noticed that much spam in the forums here. Is it really a big deal to just delete the posts when and if they come in?
