Default Pause?

I play at work, between phone calls, while on hold, and generally whenever I've got a free minute. Yesterday in particular things got away, and while I'd saved my puzzle, and signed out, when I logged on today, there's a puzzle showing to have taken me 48,968 seconds to complete

I don't think that'd work very well, since you could use it to complete a puzzle in 30 seconds with print screen, pause, paste and solve while on hold.

I agree. I know that pause would help many people but also it would be excellent opportunity to cheat.

Default Pause?

Sudoku puzzles solve the cheating problem by blanking the screen on pause so you can't use pause to think or solve. It is frustrating to be interrupted with a phone call in the middle of a puzzle and not be able to stop the clock.

Blanking the screen on pause still doesn't solve cheating problem because you can do print screen before pauseing, solve puzzle on break a then only copy the answers.
