Just getting started and would like to know...is there a way to choose a 4 X 4 or 5 X 5 puzzle? when I click on new puzzle, it seems to give me one at random and I would like to start with some 4 X 4 to build proficiency.

If you can see the puzzle statistics under the "Start the Puzzle" link, look for puzzles with average solution times of under 400 seconds.

Most of the time, these will be 4x4 puzzles.

If you don't see an average time of under 400 seconds, hit the "New Game" link again.

I appreciate the tip although there really should be some way for the player to choose their level of difficulty.

Maybe that feature will be incorporated in some future enhancement.
