TV Game Shows

Five contestants, each in a different TV game show, are competing on their final night for a cash prize. Each show is on a different night at a different time and each cash prize is of a different value.

The contestants are Franky Phoenix, Glen Jason, Reggie Skye, Rory Palmer, and Steff Samson.

The shows are Eggs in One Basket, Fighting Chance, Knock Off, Mix It Up, and Shot in the Dark.

The nights are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

The times are 5.00pm, 5.30pm, 6.00pm, 6.30pm, and 7.00pm.

The cash prizes are \$6,000, \$7,000, \$8,000, \$9,000, and \$10,000.

The contestants, shows, nights, times, and cash prizes do not necessarily relate to each other in the order listed.

From this information and the following clues, for each contestant, can you determine the show, the night, the time, and the cash prize?

1) The top prize was contested on Monday at 30 minutes after the earliest time.
2) Fighting Chance was contested by Reggie Skye one and a half hours before Eggs in One Basket which was contested mid-week.
3) There was a difference of \$4,000 between the prize contested by Rory Palmer and that contested on Friday.
4) Of the shows contested on the hour, one was for \$6,000, one was by Steff Samson on Tuesday, and one was Shot in the Dark.
5) Franky Phoenix contested one day before the show Shot in the Dark and one day after the show Knock Off.
6) As was the Monday show contested at an earlier time than Knock Off, so too was the Wednesday show contested at an earlier time than Shot in the Dark.
7) The Tuesday prize was \$1,000 less than the Thursday prize and \$1,000 more than the Wednesday prize.
