Default Huh?

I keep doing this over and over but I still get the same results which are wrong. Does anyone know how to solve it without guessing?

Which lake is associated with the dining table?

Check your grid (all the boxes). If you have more than one lake associated with the dining table, you know there is a problem.

Jesus and Hailee are swapped from their correct positions, and the dining table a juice press are also swapped.

It's pretty hard to tell what went wrong during your solution without observing every move, but when I get the dreaded empty rectangle like you have in your grid, it usually means that I have misplaced an X - usually while transposing.

I tried this one and came up with this. Not sure if it's correct but it seems to fit. One of the problems is that clue number 7 indicates that Lake Vostok is either Kaiden or Chad, but you've got Chad paired with Lake Victoria. Also be careful that when you duplicate a column (like in your Kaiden and Juice Press columns) make sure that the solve circles line up.

Thanks Laura and zenobia43. Laura's solution seems to work. Thanks to both of you- you've been very helpful ever since I joined.
