As soon as you request a hint, you no longer get full points for solving the puzzle. The 10:00 AM vs. 10:00 PM or Landyn vs. Landen puzzles are pretty sneaky.
What might help is to clear the grid and start again. But just remember to avoid asking for hints if you care about a 100% solve rate.
