New puzzles - 4x4 grids
Hi folks -
We've entered about 1,000 new puzzles today in a new, 4x4 format (four categories, and four options in each). These puzzles will be a bit quicker to solve than our previous ones (4x5) and they are scored on a lower scale according to the type of puzzle. Therefore don't be surprised if you solve a 4x5 puzzle in X seconds and get a score of 350, but you solve a 4x4 puzzle in X seconds and get a score of 285. These new puzzles have been thoroughly tested, but as with any new features, there may be some unforseen bugs - if you notice anything strange with the new 4x4 puzzles, please send in a bug report. Thanks for playing! - Stephen |
Fun!
Again, thanks for the quick fix!
I found the first one I pulled up messed with my head, but they are definitely a nice break from the 4x5's! I'm already liking it. |
They are quicker to solve, perfect for a commercial break while watching TV. Any way to choose puzzle size?

Yes, good idea - I'll add that to my list. I'll add an extra step in the process so you can select what type of game you want to play - and also add an option on your account profile that you can set, to request either only 4x4 or 4x5 puzzles, or a random sampling of both, so that the system will automatically know your preference if you want to skip that extra step.

How will the new puzzles impact the fastest solver competition? There was enough controversy with the 5x5 puzzles, I hope people just enjoy the fun and don't get silly.

More Puzzles
I love this site. Thanks for running it.
Any way we could see larger logic puzzles added. I used to do some on paper that had 5 categories. Very challenging but fun. |
