Grids, or Charts?

Hi! I recently joined this site.
Do all of you prefer grids, or charts? I definately prefer grids. I've tried a few that used charts, but I couldn't solve them. I've noticed that the tougher logic puzzles only use charts, so I avoid them!

Simple question perhaps, but what do you mean by "grids" and "charts"?
