What's the point of points?

Can I trade them in for anything?

The points are simply a way of tracking your own success and achievement, nothing more. It's simply a friendly competition against yourself and everyone else. My own personal goal is to score 1,000,000 points in one month--I haven't done it yet but hope to. Just have fun.
