Just learn to sort useful information from useless. Only about 1/3 of what's said in each clue is relevant. Then look for patterns to reach conclusions. If you want to practice the simpler puzzles, look for the ones that have an average solve time under 350 seconds with a solve rate greater than 65%. Those will be the 4x4 puzzles. I've also posted a list of tips on the forums. They're under 'questions about logic puzzles', topics are 'getting faster on 4x4 puzzles' and 'tips for getting faster'. Some other good solvers have posted tips there, too. It doesn't hurt that I've been solving these kinds of puzzles since I was 9.
