You can change your timezone settings here:

http://www.logic-puzzles.org/forum/profile.php?do=editoptions

Just scroll down a bit.

edit: then again, seems to be broken.. -5:00 GMT (EST) says it's 9am right now when it's 4pm..

As a quick fix: Add 7 hours. Since I'm -5:00, I set it to +2:00

Its Rocky Mountain Time (at least that is what we used to call it) and I assume it is because, I think that Stephen P. Ryder and the rest of the staff are probably located in Colorado. That would be the Sun gets there about an hour earlier than California, and two hours after New York.

Scotland! I just visited last summer. Met some friends in Glasgow and had hoped to meet with a friend in Edinburgh as well, but our schedules were at odds.

I live in Leith which is now part of Edinburgh.
It has been part of Edinburgh since 1923 if my memory serves. Leith is a port. Your name is quite similar to Leith. Isn't it not?

Yes, haha, I suppose it is! I didn't get over to Leith, but stayed mainly near the College of Art. My hotel was on Lauriston, and I took a lot of walks, especially over to the Meadows. You may laugh, but I also loved your Firemen's Museum!

I live in Florida. It's lovely when it's rainy, but it can get too hot and sunny here!

What summers? We don't have any such thing here. The occasional week or two of nice weather that's all.

Hahaha, June and July in Scotland feel fantastic to me! It's good to get away from the sweltering heat and humidity here. That said, I am quite enjoying Christmas, New Year's, etc in a light jacket at most. Florida does have its moments!
